Fenty Beauty expands in UK with Boots partnership

Singer and entrepreneur Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty is expanding its retail presence in the United Kingdom, thanks to a newly announced partnership with health and beauty retailer Boots.

“@fentybeauty is officially taking over the UK!” Rihanna announced via Instagram. “I’m here to announce our brand new partnership with @BootsUK !! Look out for us at locations from MAY 10!! I’m so excited, I love Boots and I love my UK fans!!! Get ready for #FENTYBEAUTYxBOOTS.”

The American celebrity’s beauty line made its first appearance in the UK via a regional partnership launched in 2017 with department store company Harvey Nichols.

According to the UK company, its beauty sales have increased over 80 percent as a result of exclusive regional partnerships with beauty brands like Fenty.

For UK customers wanting to get a jump on the retail release, Boots has launched a waiting list that will give shoppers early access to the Fenty Beauty products on May 9.

The Boots expansion follows Fenty Beauty’s recent announcement that it will launch ProKissr, a lip prep line, on May 10. The release will be available via fentybeauty.com, Sephora, Harvey Nichols and Sephora in JC Penney, according to an Instagram post from the brand.
