Fendi has opened a new location in Florence. The Italian fashion house, owned by LVMH, is benefiting from the traffic caused by the Pitti Uomo show currently taking place to celebrate its opening on 10 January.

The store is located at 40/r on Florence’s popular via Tornabuoni, opposite the Prada store and not far from the historical Gucci headquarters and the new Montblanc store. The 15th-century renaissance building that is now home to Fendi measures 2000 square feet and was formerly occupied by Cartier. Behind the project was French architect Gwenaël Nicolas. The store spans over two floors, features fresco painting on the walls and ceiling and centers around a magnificent staircase.

Fendi opened its first Florence store on via Strozzi ten years ago. This space is now occupied by no other than Louis Vuitton.
