Fatface launches athleisure range

FatFace is the latest UK fashion brand to jump on the sportswear bandwagon with a collection of women’s athleisure pieces inspired by '80s retro sportswear.

The lifestyle brand enlisted award-winning designer Susie Stone, a young British bespoke dressmaker who has designed everything from high-end bridal to ready-to-wear collections for her own brand, for the new athleisure collection.

The range is designed to be comfortable and stylish, with styles that are suitable for everyday life as well as exercise.

“As a designer, I wanted to keep the garments in this collection simple enough to be easily mixed and matched while also offering something new and fresh,” commented Susie Stone.

“Drawing inspiration from '80s retro sportswear was a great starting point for colour and print; block colours and graphic prints are having a revival at the moment so I took these vintage themes and made them more modern by choosing a more muted, sophisticated palette.”

Thoughtful details like mesh panels, reflective elements and inside pockets appear throughout the collection, which has been made from moisture wicking and soft fabrics.

The range is now available in FatFace stores and online.
