Artist Johny Dar's "Jeans for Refugees" project is a fundraising initiative that gives all its proceeds to the International Rescue Committee to help refugees globally.

The project has seen one hundred celebrities donate their jeans to Dar, who then hand paints each pair. The celebrities who've donated denim include a number of well-known fashion names, such as Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Vivienne Westwood, Chanel Iman, Anna Wintour, and Twiggy. Dar says he aims to capture the personality of the celebrity when he paints the jeans.

"This started as a humble dream of wanting to make a difference through what I can do, on a personal level, which is painting those jeans – and the rest was only possible through the generous souls that have contributed to this project. I am honoured and humbled to be part of this, with all you beautiful beings," Dar says.

All the jeans will be on display at the Saatchi Gallery in London from 24th October, and will then be auctioned off at an event on the 30th October.
