Fashion East announces SS16 lineup

Fashion East, the British support scheme that helps emerging designers, has named the three newest names to show at London Fashion Week.

The designers who will show their collections on September 19 are Caitlin Price, Richard Malone and This is The Uniform. Price already showed with FE in February, while Malone and This is The Uniform are new.

Fashion East Director Lulu Kennedy MBE said: “There is a freshness to this season’s lineup; all 3 designers are strong-minded individuals and their girl/woman knows what she’s about. I’m delighted to be working with them and am enjoying the presentation format – the creativity and freedom is energizing.“

The designers were chosen by Fashion East’s panel of editors, buyers and stylists, and will receive sponsorship, ongoing business mentoring and a place in a top international sales showroom in Paris. 

Previous winners include Gareth Pugh, Jonathan Saunders, House of Holland, Roksanda Ilincic, Simone Rocha, Marques’Almeida, and Ashley Williams.
