Fashion designer Angelo Marani dies

Italian fashion designer Angelo Marani has died at the age of 70.

The creative and entrepreneur passed away on January 4 after a long illness, reports the Italian publication Quotidiano.

Marani, who launched his business, Marex, in 1969, had become a regular at Milan Fashion Week. He was known for his innovative knitwear collections and love of prints, and also headed a successful denim line, ‘Marani Jeans'.
