English Laundry and Prodigy Brands to launch English Laundry footwear

English Laundry, an English Bluestar Alliance brand, on Friday announced that Prodigy Brands will be launching English Laundry footwear.

The footwear collection will be split into two categories, one that will focus on the brand’s history and another that will highlight the brand’s British heritage. English Laundry was founded in 1984 as an elaborate shirt line that combined iconic patterns from the 1960s and 1970s with modern men’s fashion.
 
"The addition of Prodigy Brands to our current assortment of licensing partners completes the English Laundry collection in both tailored and sportswear categories," said Ralph Gindi, COO of Bluestar Alliance. "This is certainly exciting news for the department stores. The English Laundry customer is loyal and has a tendency of making multiple purchases during a single visit, now he can be dressed from head to toe."

Prodigy Brands is a Florida-based luxury men’s footwear company with a diverse roster of licensed brands including Zanzara, Silver Dagger, Joe’s, Hart Schaffner Max and English Laundry.
 
The English Laundry footwear collection will launch at select retailers in fall 2016, and it will be previewed at Prodigy Brands corporate showroom in New York City in February 2016.
