Ellesse links with Sidemen for new collab
Colourful sportswear brand Ellesse is collaborating with music/entertainment/gaming YouTube group Sidemen to launch an AW21 collection of co-branded clothing.
The eight-piece casualwear line is based on a “graphic statement aesthetic” and includes a hoody and jacket, a jog-and-track pant, a simple tee and and half-zip top. There’s also a matching cap and beanie headwear in distinctive bright or monochrome looks to complement the collection.
The line also marks a "camouflage premier" for Sidemen Clothing with bright red/orange and standout camo colourways. Optic white and anthracite black balance out the collection.
Co-branding comes together with Ellesse's regular logo combining with the SDMN lettering for a reimagined logo.
The collaboration comes on the back of "a mutual interest in each another’s brands".
Sideman’s Ethan Payne said: “The brand got in touch after seeing me in a piece of vintage Ellesse [so] it has been amazing to co-design a collection that we’d wear ourselves.
Ellesse added: “It’s been an honour to work with renowned group Sidemen who are at the forefront of YouTube streaming. We are inspired by the group’s creativity through their variety of entertaining shows and are so happy to support their future in Sidemen Clothing with a playful-yet-style-conscious set of sportswear.”
