The Spanish department store will be losing its current marketing director, Juan José Sáez-Torres, who will leave his post in September. He was appointed to the position in February 2016.

Juan José Sáez-Torres joined the group last year from the multinational food corporation Danone. In the last few months the company has also lost its director of human resources José Luis Romero, who similarly spent just over a year in the role.

According to the department store chain, Sáez-Torres’ decision to leave was made due to personal reasons.

The departures coincide with a period of change in the organization of the company. CEO Dimas Gimeno has sought to update the company's business model since the introduction of a new investor and new business plan two years ago.
