Ebay adds Adriane Brown and Diana Farrell to the board

Ebay announced on Wednesday the appointment of Adriane Brown and Diana Farrell to its board of directors.
 

Brown currently serves as an advisor with Intellectual Ventures, LLC, where she previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining the company, she worked at Honeywell International, Inc. and held a number of roles, including SVP, Energy Strategy and President and CEO of Honeywell Transportation Systems. Brown also spent close to 20 years at Corning, Inc.
 
In addition to joining the Ebay board, the Old Dominion University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology graduate currently serves on the Allergan PLC board.

Farrell, a graduate of Wesleyan University and Harvard Business School, is the Founding President and CEO of JPMorgan Chase Institute. Prior to joining the global think tank, she held a variety of roles at McKinsey & Company, Inc., served as the Deputy Director of the National Economic Council and the Deputy Economic Advisor to the President under the Obama Administration. Farrell also started her career at Goldman Sachs.

The additions to the board of directors come days after Ebay partnered with Spring, the luxury e-tailer backed by Groupe Arnault, to create a curated storefront on the site.
