East Londoners get first taste of new Loewe campaign

Londoner Jonathan Anderson has given the citizens of the British capital a first sneak-peek of his new campaign for luxury Spanish fashion house Loewe.

The ad campaign went up on a digital billboard in the hip Shoreditch area in the morning on September 17. One of the images shows model Raquel Zimmermann in a semi-transparent look from the upcoming Spring Summer 2016 collection. The campaign was lensed by Steven Meisel and styled by Benjamin Bruno.

The background is a set designed by M/M that is an abstract evocation of Mount Fuji. In addition to the Zimmerman picture, the campaign also continues the series of original Self-Portraits by Steven Meisel.

From September 29, the campaign images will also be shown on a
billboard outside of Loewe’s Paris home at 76 rue Bonaparte. Anderson is showing his new Loewe womenswear collection in Paris on October 2.
