The Cherry Moon, a fashion e-tailer that sells luxury and emerging independent brands, is to open on the King’s Road in Chelsea with the company having just signed a deal with landlord Sloane Stanley to debut at number 366-368 in April.

It’s a physical stores first for the retailer and it looks like it wants the new space to be more than just a shop. Sloane Stanley said the brand will “maximise on the capacity of a physical store, implementing a chic-minimal décor with an in-store bar area, which they will also use as an event space.”

The landlord has been proactive at working with emerging retailers in recent periods and its property director Hannah Grievson said that Cherry Moon’s assortment will complement the existing fashion offer on the shopping thoroughfare.

Jevz Nair, co-founder and head of technology at The Cherry Moon, added: “Being an online-first business, we felt perfectly placed to swim against the narrative, launching a high street presence once we knew that there was an appetite for a blended online and physical approach to retailing. We have ambitions to develop our bricks and mortar portfolio in the UK and internationally, and we’re greatly pleased to be marking this with an initial store in Chelsea.”

Other recent openings on the street include two fashion pop-ups with “unconventional Eastern heritage brand” Vilshenko Maslenitsa currently running a pop-up until next month and Introvert, an affordable luxury fashion brand with an 100% sustainable concept, operating a pop-up until this Sunday.
