Dr Martens to open new shop in Derby

Dr Martens, the iconic footwear brand that's owned by Permira, is opening a new UK store in Derby in April.

The shop will be located at 50 Sadler Gate in the Cathedral Quarter, Derby city centre’s premier shopping destination. Other retailers in the area include White Stuff, Cruise Clothing, Canopy and Silvarious.

Dr Martens' sales rose by 13% in the year to March 2015. The Derby city store will be its 24th UK branch and follows a number of UK openings last year.
