The multi-brand concept retailer confirmed on a dedicated website created for the LA outpost, that the store will open on November 3 at 11 am. It was initially expected to open in March.

The storefront will be located at 606-608 Imperial Street, in a 10,000-square-foot space in the downtown Arts District.

According to the website, a series of special items from t-shirt collaborators will be available to welcome DSM to Los Angeles.

The luxury concept store, helmed by fashion designer Rei Kawakubo of the label Comme des Garҫons and her husband Adrian Joffe, offers an array of brands including Junya Watanabe, Hussein Chalayan, Rick Owens, and Vetements as well as Kawakubo’s Comme des Garҫons label and all of its product lines.

“I want to create a kind of market where various creators from various fields gather together and encounter each other in an ongoing atmosphere of beautiful chaos; the mixing up and coming together of different kindred souls who all share a strong personal vision,” Kawakubo explains on the dedicated website.

It currently operates five Dover Street Market stores globally including in Beijing, Singapore, New York, and Ginza in Tokyo. The first store opened in 2004 in London's Mayfair neighborhood and has since relocated to Haymarket.
