Rei Kawakubo’s Dover Street Market is to close the doors to its London store at the beginning of March, and reopen again on March 19 on 18-22 Haymarket in London’s West End.

The store on Dover Street will close its doors at the beginning of March - DSML

The concept store, which sells, among other labels, Comme Des Garçons, occupied the Dover Street unit for 12 years. According to an announcement made in 2014, the new home of the brand will be the former Burberry headquarters, a 33,000 sq ft unit owned by Amsprop.

As it moves, DSML will publish photos of the new store every Tuesday at 2pm on its website and on Anothermagazine.com.

Since its creation in 2004 on Dover Street, the multi-brand store and art space has opened further stores in Ginza, New York and Beijing.
