Paula Sutter, president at Diane Von Furstenberg, will be leaving the company at the end of the year. Sutter came to the New York-based label in 1999 to oversee its revamp and international development as a luxury lifestyle brand. Before joining DVF, Paula Sutter was vice president of the women’s division at Donna Karan.

“Paula has played a key role in the second life of DVF,” said Diane von Furstenberg, who holds the title of founder and cochairman at her company. Last year, industry veteran Joel Horowitz, one of the architects of Tommy Hilfiger’s success, joined as co-chairman. 'DVF has charged Martens&Heads! executive search firm to find Paula Sutter's successor.

DVF is present in nearly 70 countries with a total network of 85 directly-operated or partnership-run stores in North America, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region.
