American fashion designer, retailer and creative director Humberto Leon is set to make his directorial debut this fall with a film for cult luxury brand Kenzo, complete with a star-studded cast.

Leon — along with long-time Opening Ceremony collaborator Carol Lim — has acted as co-creative director of Kenzo since 2011, and has to date commissioned seven short films for the brand since they took over the reins, but this is the first time that he will go behind the lens for the brand himself.
The clip, titled "The Everything", is described in a statement by the brand as "a light-hearted drama about a family of teenagers with unusual powers that bring them together", and sees Milla Jovovich taking the lead as the family matriarch.
Joining Jovovich on the cast are Alexandra Shipp and Kodi Smit-McPhee — both of whom appeared in 2016's "X-Men: Apocalypse" — with all stars set to model clothing from the brand's upcoming Fall/Winter 2018 collection, as well as pieces from Kenzo — La Collection Memento No. 3, the third capsule collection created by Leon and Lim based on the brand's archives.
Spike Jonze, who previously directed the three-minute film "My Mutant Brain" for Kenzo World, the first fragrance Leon and Lim created for the brand, will also make a special appearance in "The Everything", according to initial reports (via The Hollywood Reporter).
While Kenzo has released few further details about its upcoming film project, "The Everything" is expected to be unconventional, inventive and thoroughly creative in line with the brand's ethos, and is scheduled to premiere on September 7 during New York Fashion Week.
