Held for the second time in Barcelona, the meeting of professionals from the world of denim brought together 3,905 visitors, compared to 3,200 a year earlier at its last Parisian session. "Goal reached" for its French organiser.

Some 72% of the visitors came from beyond Spain's borders, representing approximately 60 countries. Europe thus represented 70% of the visitors, with Spain followed by Turkey (13%), Italy (12%), France (6.5%), the UK (6.5%), Germany (6%), and Portugal and Belgium in the 11th and 13th positions.

Major denim specialists, the Northern European and Scandinavian countries represented 6% of the visitors, with the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark topping the list. A precision made by the organiser, who since this year counts another trade fair, Kingpins, which is held in Amsterdam.

For the Middle East and Africa zone, professionals from Tunisia and Morocco were particularly well represented, while Turkey dominated the Euromed zone. As for the Americas, there was a 38% increase in Americans, coming in at 8th place on the list of most represented countries.

"Denim by Première Vision thus reached its goals, confirming its leadership in the international denim community, retaining values that have made and which more than ever continue to make its success," Première Vision Sa. said, congratulating itself.

The next edition, and the second summer one in Barcelona, will take place on 27 and 28 May 2015. 4,479 professionals (+45%) participated in the fair's first Catalan edition last year (+45% compared to the equivalent Parisian edition). It is worth noting that the fair's summer edition always attracts higher numbers.
