Craghoppers to debut in Northern Ireland in Belfast's Victoria Square
Global outdoor and adventure travel specialist Craghoppers is to open a standalone store in Belfast’s leisure and retail destination Victoria Square later this month. It will be the brand’s first store in Northern Ireland.
With an emphasis on lightweight, waterproof and insulating outerwear, the 2,387 sq ft Craghoppers store on Victoria Square’s upper ground level located will sit adjacent to River Island and H&M.
With a significant emphasis on sustainability, over 70% of its products are made from recycled materials and 100% PFC-free fabrics. The store it will also feature recycled materials in its fixtures.
Alongside its core offer, the store will also feature an array of Regatta products, featuring footwear, kidswear and accessories.
James McNamara, Brand Director of Craghoppers, said: “Northern Ireland is a strong market for our sector with a significant emphasis on the outdoors. The Victoria Square store will mark part of our UK expansion within a thriving market and ensure we continue to showcase our incredible calibre of products to consumers that love the outdoors.”
Fitness, sport and leisure retailers have become important additions for a number of UK shopping centres this year, enabling them to fill out some of the vacant spaces relinquished by brands that failed to make it through the pandemic. Craghoppers, for instance, will join FitPink Fitness, the sustainable women’s athleisure sport and lifestyle specialist, which opened at Victoria Square this month. Gym + Coffee have been busy expanding as have bigger rival Castore.
