Coty Beauty President Esi Eggleston Bracey steps down, Unilever's Kleitman steps in

Coty on Tuesday announced the appointment of Laurent Kleitman to President Coty Consumer Beauty, following the departure of Esi Eggleston Bracey who is stepping down from the role for personal reasons. Kleitman will assume his new role on May 15, 2017, and CEO Camillo Pane will directly oversee the Consumer Beauty division in the interim.

Kleitman will join Coty from Unilever, where he is currently serving as EVP Global Hair Care. Prior to assuming this role in 2015, he served as CEO of Unilever Russia, Ukraine & Belarus, and worked three years at LVMH in Russia in the Perfumes & Cosmetics business, where he took the business to growth after the 2008 crisis. Kleitman began his career in Unilever in marketing and has worked in Russia, Thailand, Italy, the UK, and France.
 
As President Coty Consumer Beauty, Esi Eggleston Bracey oversaw a $4.4 billion portfolio including color cosmetics, retail hair color and styling, body care and mass fragrances. She joined Coty in 2016 following the merger between Coty and Proctor & Gamble.

Bracey held numerous roles at Proctor & Gamble spanning 25 years, including Marketing Director for Covergirl in North America, VP & GM North America Color Cosmetics and finally SVP & GM Global Cosmetics, CMO Beauty Brand Building.
