Converse taps twenty international artists for latest ad campaign
Converse has thought big for its new global advertising campaign. The US sneakers brand, owned by the Nike group, has tapped 20 creative talents from around the world, including musicians, rappers, athletes, illustrators and choreographers, to make 20 six-second clips. Joined together, they form a single film released on October 10 as Converse’s new campaign. US rapper Tyler the Creator composed the soundtrack to this highly original video.
The ‘Create Now, Create Next’ campaign premièred on October 6 on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Spotify and YouTube, with six, 15 and 30-second clips, and longer versions too. A 10-track playlist from the campaign is also available on Converse's Spotify channel.
Some of the artists featured in this campaign are part of Converse’s All Star mentoring programme, showcasing young creative talents hailing from some of the world’s major cities, like illustrator Engy Saint-Ange and dancer and choreographer Usha Jey from Paris.
