The British brand has expanded its retail footprint by joining one of London’s leading fashion hubs for independent labels. Located at 3 Berwick Street, the new location becomes Folk’s fifth bricks-and-mortar shop.

Esteemed sculptor Paul Vanstone and Racing Atelier helped Folk design the store’s interior. Minimalist features and a clean, uncomplicated style reflect the brand’s commitment to understated elegance, while the in-store fittings echo its classic approach to design.

Founded in 2001, the menswear and womenswear brand has been received the Mr Porter stamp of approval, launching several exclusive collaborations with the luxury e-tailer.

Addy Williams, senior retail portfolio manager at Shaftesbury said about Folk’s store opening: “Folk is a welcome addition to Berwick Street’s already-thriving fashion offering, joining the likes of Oliver Spencer, Universal Works and Clarks Originals. Shaftesbury has long established Soho as a hub for contemporary fashion and will continue to bring new and influential brands to the destination.”

Folk has also stores in Notting Hill, Holborn and Shoreditch.
