Concours on Savile Row announces new luxury car partnerships for June
The regular Concours on Savile Row event organised by London landlord the Pollen Estate has released details of its June schedule, celebrating collaborations between Savile Row tailoring houses and the automotive world.
Running across 15 and 16 June, the event includes Dege & Skinner linking up with with Morgan, Huntsman with Bentley, and Scabal with Caton.
Dege & Skinner are partnering with Morgan Motor Company and will be displaying the new Morgan Super 3 outside No10 Savile Row. The new Super 3 will feature customised interior door panels created by Dege & Skinner, using a British racing green wool mesh cloth. This same cloth will also be used for a single-breasted coat with curved patch pockets for Morgan Motor Company’s Head of Design Jonathan Wells.
Huntsman will be partnered with both Bentley Mulliner Division and Hagerty Classic Car Insurance. Hagerty will be showcasing a handwoven bespoke tweed developed by Huntsman for the occasion. And the 1964 Jaguar E-Type Coupé featured in the Kingsman film will also be on display.
Huntsman was the inspiration for and made costumes exclusively for the Kingsman series, with creative director Campbell Carey having a cameo in the films.
It’s also rekindling a historical partnership with the Bentley Mulliner division that takes in limited edition Bentayga models, as well as Bentley coats and exclusive linings.
Finally, tailor and luxury fabric merchant Scabal has linked with British luxury coachbuilding brand Caton. Celebrating its 50th year on Savile Row, Scabal will display the new Healey by Caton.
