Clio Image Awards launches to honor fashion, beauty and retail advertising

Esteemed international advertising competition the CLIOs has announced the launch of Clio Image, a new awards program destined to honor creative excellence in the fashion, beauty, retail and accessories sectors.

"Clio Image is the first global awards show to recognize the groundbreaking creative work that is done behind the scenes in fashion, beauty, retail and accessories," says Nicole Purcell, CLIO Executive Director.

Similar to the CLIOs, Clio Image will award three prizes: the CLIO Award, recognizing work that pushes creative boundaries; the Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating outstanding creative contributions by an individual who has paved the way for new industry talent; and the Honorary CLIO Award, honoring those with distinguished bodies of work and creative contributions to their respective industries.

Amongst those on the panel of creative elites are Richard Ferretti, SVP Global Creative Director at Estée Lauder, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, artistic director at OPI, fashion photographer Annie Leibovitz, Stefano Tonchi, editor in chief of W and H&M creative director, Donald Schneider.
