The premium fashion trade show revealed this week that Raeburn will talk about the slow fashion movement with British fashion commentator and Professor of Diversity Caryn Franklin and a panel of experts including Hans Ates from Blackhorse Lane Ateliers at the ‘In Talks With’ session on 23 January.

Guests will also get a first view of Raeburn’s latest collection under the rebranded Raeburn label. A Royal College of Art graduate, Christopher Raeburn’s design philosophy is marked by an interest in reappropriating fabrics and using functional details to make garments more sustainable.

Lindsay Hoyes, event director of Jacket Required commented: “The concept of fashion for life, the move away from fast fashion and how the retailer and end consumers can embrace this movement is going to be a fascinating discussion.”

Joining Raeburn, Franklin and Ates on stage will be Stacey Wood, the founder of slow fashion brand King & Tuckfield. The panel conversation will take place during Jacket Required, which is held from 23-24 January at the Old Truman Brewery in London.
