Chloé unveils second Unicef capsule collection

Published
Mar 12, 2021

French fashion house Chloé is once again teaming up with Unicef for the launch of its second capsule collection deepening its commitment to gender equality.

Chloé unveils second Unicef capsule collection. - Chloé

As part of the global partnership first launched in 2019, Chloe will contribute to Unicef’s gender empowerment initiative, which provides necessary skills to women to help them advance in the workplace, as well as entrepreneurial advancements. The Girls Forward initiative will be implemented in countries such as Bolivia, Jordan, Morocco, Senegal and Tajikistan. The commitment was extended from the initial three-year timeline through 2023.

Each piece from the philanthropic Chloé collection introduces new artwork created by Natacha Ramsay-Levi that features a sisterhood gesture of holding hands, symbolizing girls helping other girls to advance forward. Items include a t-shirt and a vibrant scarf; a bracelet, necklace and pins with graphic medallion; and a soft, heart-shaped printed pouch.

The collection is equally rooted in sustainability and officially certified by the World Fair Trade Organization. Chloé teamed up with four fair trade suppliers across the categories: Creative Handcraft for ready-to-wear; SeeMe for jewellery; Cooperativa Alice for leather goods; and Cocccon for fashion accessories.

The capsule is now available on chloe.com and in Chloé boutiques in France, Italy, Japan, the UAE, the United Kingdom and the United States. Prices range from 50€ to 290€.

To date, Chloé's support to Unicef's Skills For Girls Initiative has helped almost 10,000 adolescent girls and young women receive a better education and gain digital literacy and entrepreneurial skills.
