The space is designed to create an urban destination where shoppers can discover the new collection while sipping drinks and enjoying the new seating areas. The concept will serve as the basis for new stores moving forward.

“We are very much committed to the retail experience,” said Nick Wheeler, who founded the business in 1986 while he was a student at Bristol University.

“It’s clear that our stores can provide a unique experience for shoppers and we have worked tirelessly to give them a space to enjoy choosing shirts, suits, ties, shoes and our extensive range of casualwear.

“Our plan is to establish a store blueprint that steers our store of the future.

“We’re listening to our customers to ensure their journey becomes a simple yet engaging experience that ultimately makes it easy for them to dress well.”

Customers can take advantage of instant monogramming service,  dubbed Instamonogram, while digital screens, lightboxes and new POS show the brand’s latest campaigns.

The store launch coincides with the introduction of a new trouser collection called Befitted, which sees Charles Tyrwhitt focus on fit rather than sitze.
