Céline opens first flagship store in Germany
Luxury brand Céline has opened its first flagship store in the German market in Munich. The new boutique is located at Maximilianstrasse 22 and occupies a space of 250 square metres across two floors.

In line with the brand’s integrative approach, the building’s original façade was preserved. The entrance area on the ground floor is dedicated to the brand’s leather goods and accessories, while ready-to-wear and shoes are featured on the first floor alongside the VIP area.
The interior design is characterised by the use of metal elements, indoor plants, high-quality stone floors and details in onyx, terracotta and wood.
There are also specially-designed works by Danish artist FOS complementing the interior design and bringing Céline’s aesthetic to life. The works include a sunglasses display and a unit for bags.

The opening party was attended by 250 people, including brand CEO Séverine Merle, international retail director Diego Menarin and Nicolas Barré, GM Europe & Middle East; actresses Sandra Hüller and Pheline Roggan and art collectors Christian and Karen Boros.
