With mid-century furniture and an earthy colour palette, the two-storey boutique is designed  to feel like an intimate apartment instead of a traditional store.  Designed in collaboration with Studio Ashby, it “embraces colour, warmth, sophisticated texture, restrained maximalism and a culturally rich palette. It brings together high and low art forms and celebrates simple ornamentation,” says Joe Casely-Hayford, who founded the brand in 2008 with his son Charlie.

The store houses the brand’s ready-to-wear collections and an atelier, where men and women can access made-to-measure and bespoke services. And for the first time in the label’s 10-year history, it introduces a line of leather accessories. Handmade in Spain, the men’s collection includes two footwear styles, weekend luggage bags, backpacks, and cardholders. For women, there are leather and suede clutch bags in variety of earthy tones.

“We have been developing the concept for our flagship store for a number of years. It seemed like a natural evolution from conversations we have with our clients about expanding our personal tailoring service to garments outside of traditional suiting,” Charlie Casely-Hayford comments.

The flagship opening will also kickstart a new era for the brand, with the business moving away from the traditional model of a seasonal collection in favour of more regular launches. The transition will start with luxury capsule collections in four see-now buy-now collections: Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer. But eventually, the plan is to adopt a faster model after the first year with new launches every two months to meet growing demand.
