French brand Lacoste has called upon the American painter and street artist John Andrew Perello, better known as JonOne, to create a ready-to-wear capsule collection. Launch date: November 2.

The American artist JonOne began painting when he was 17, first practicing his craft on New York subway trains. Inspired by the city's energy, movement and colors, he gradually developed an abstract expressionist style which he has put into action in Paris, his adopted city, since the end of the 1980s.

This style is showcased in a collaboration between JonOne and Lacoste L!ve, Lacoste's young contemporary line, for the Fall-Winter 2015-2016 season.

The collection consists of the brand's famous polo shirt, which has been decorated with urban-inspired graffiti, plus t-shirts, classic and hooded sweatshirts, and a zipped jacket.

This is not the first time that Lacoste, which is famous for its crocodile logo, has worked with an artist to create a special collection. In 2013, to celebrate its 80th anniversary, Lacoste teamed up with Peter Saville to redesign its legendary L.12.12 polo shirt.

This Lacoste L!ve x JonOne collection will go on sale on November 2 in Lacoste stores and in the e-shop www.lacoste.com.
