Having founded a French subsidiary led by the president of Canada Goose International AG Patrick Sherlock last November, the label will open its first store in the country on Paris’ prestigious Rue Saint-Honoré.

In Italy, it’s Milan’s Via della Spiga which has been chosen to play host to the country’s first Canada Goose store, which will join the likes of Prada, Lanvin and Chloé on this most sophisticated of streets in the Lombard capital’s Fashion District. According to the brand, the location will feature an “Arctic-inspired mid-century environment” bringing together elements of Canadian and Italian heritage.

Minneapolis, Minnesota’s Mall of America will receive the label’s fifth U.S. location, which, along with the new European stores announced by Canada Goose on Tuesday, will feature a “Cold Room” in which customers can test out the brand’s products at the low temperatures they were designed to cope with.

On its home turf, Canada Goose will be opening a second Toronto location at luxury shopping mall CF Sherway Gardens, as well as a store at Alberta’s West Edmonton Hall, the largest shopping mall in North America. The Edmonton Hall location will also feature a “Cold Room”.

The third new Canadian location planned by the brand for the second half of this year will open in the country’s most visited national park and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Banff, at the Cascade Shops.

All of the upcoming stores will offer Canada Goose’s full outerwear assortment, knitwear and accessories, as well as seasonal collections and collaborations.

“In addition to growing our footprint in Asia, expanding in Europe and broadening our presence in North America enables our fans to explore all of our collections in a unique and engaging environment and discover the story behind our products, unfiltered,” explained Canada Goose President and CEO Dani Reiss in a press release.

Having recently opened its first location in China, Canada Goose currently operates 11 stores spread across three continents.

For the third quarter ended December 31, 2018, the company reported a 50.2% jump in revenues to CA$399.3 million (US$300.6 million), while net income beat out analysts’ forecasts to total CA$103.4 million.

When reporting its results in February, Canada Goose also announced plans for a 115,000-square-foot factory in Quebec, its eighth wholly-owned manufacturing facility in Canada.
