C&A is continuing with its sustainable development policy and launching a first GOTS-certified collection for infants. This international label for organic textiles answers to the requirements on the supply chain level evaluated on environmental, social and qualitative criteria.

Available in a selection of C&A stores, as well as on the Dutch retailer's website, this collection notably includes classic white bodysuits (9 euros for two) and bodysuit-bib combinations (12 euros).

C&A, which has been using organic cotton in its collections since 2004, now boasts that 80% of its clothing made of organic clothing is OCS-certified (Organic Content Standard) and 20% is in compliance with the GOTS label. Last year the fashion chain sold 130 million products made of organic cotton.
