British label Finisterre to open new shop in Bristol

British surf brand Finisterre has found a new home in Bristol, where it is set to launch a multi-functional retail space this October.

The retailer, with its range of functional and sustainable products for those who love the sea, has a flagship store in London and stores in St Agnes, Falmouth and Braunton.

The Bristol store will stock the brand’s latest collections alongside custom built boards from Gulfstream. Additionally, the space will host an espresso bar from Cornish roasters, Origin and a calendar of talks, film showings and exhibitions.

The Grade II listed, 1500 square foot store will be sympathetically restored to give the building back its integrity by reinstating original features but with a contemporary twist.

"Bristol has always seemed like a natural fit for us. I love that it’s a launch pad for many an adventure out west” said Finisterre founder, Tom Kay. “We have always admired its green outlook and are lucky to count it as a place where we have a strong following. Now four years after opening our first store in St Agnes, we’re excited and proud to be opening Finisterre Bristol this October”.

The Finisterre range spans merino base layers, technical insulation jackets, waterproofs, knitwear and denim for both men and women.
