British designer Craig Green teams up with Björn Borg

London-based designer Craig Green has joined hands with Swedish brand Björn Borg to launch a limited edition sports fashion capsule collection, to be presented during Fashion Week Stockholm on February 1.

The range, which will be for both men and women, will include 20 items in off-white and black, featuring performance tops and compression leggings, hooded ponchos and pants, sports and bomber jackets and cotton underwear.

“The Craig Green x Björn Borg Collection marries my conceptual fascination with light and shadow, with the utilitarian beauty of Björn Borg’s heritage. The idea is to have a multifunctional garment for both men and women that is not really gender-specific. Functional components become a distinct design feature, and a bold logo is replaced by a single circle – a development of the whole motif I often explore”, said Craig Green.

The collaboration marks the first time the British designer launches a sportswear range. Craig Green, who was named Emerging Menswear Designer by the British Fashion Council in 2014, has been nominated twice for the LVMH Fashion Prize.

Craig Green x Björn Borg will be released globally in October.
