A selected group of BFC Fashion Trust, BFC Vogue Designer Fashion Fund alumni and established British brands will be invited to receive expert guidance in business development, mentoring and support as part of the partnership.

This is a new development of Bicester Village’s ‘The Business of Retail’ mentorship programme, the group of designer outlet villages said.

The collective of designer businesses will also benefit from a direct to consumer experience through an exclusive annual sample sale at Bicester Village. This first one of such events will take place in the autumn this year.

The BFC and Bicester Village Shopping Collection announced their new partnership at an industry event hosted by The Ned on Tuesday. Around 140 business leaders and industry activists were invited to talk about the future of the fashion industry, from international expansion and changing business models to tech advances and positive fashion.

The programme of talks and panels included renowned industry figures like Matchesfashion CEO Ulric Jerome, Self-Portrait founder Han Chong, Thom Browne CEO Rodrigo Bazan, and Aquazzura founder and creative director Edgardo Osorio.
