Boss selects Intu Metrocentre for new store

International fashion brand Boss is to open a new store at Intu Metrocentre in Gateshead with the full range of luxury menswear and womenswear collections, including ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories.

The 4,047 sq ft store is set to open in March, joining four further Boss stores within Intu’s portfolio of shopping centres, including Milton Keynes, Lakeside and Trafford.

The retailer is the latest aspirational brand to sign up for space at Europe’s largest shopping destination, following the opening of a Flannels store last year and the extension of House of Fraser’s beauty hall to increase its range of luxury brands.

An ongoing investment programme at the shopping centre has included the refurbishment of Intu Metrocentre's Platinum Mall which is home to many of its most aspirational retailers as well as the extension of its dining and leisure quarter Qube to welcome 12 new restaurants.
