Boss names Szasz as Business Director at Boss Womenswear

Published
Apr 30, 2021

Hugo Boss has made a key appointment at its Boss brand with Kristina Szasz named as Director Business Unit at Boss Womenswear with effect from September 1.

Kristina Szasz - HUGO BOSS

The company said that with “many years of extensive global experience in brand management as well as in design and product development, [she] will continue to drive the realignment of Boss Womenswear”.

The German fashion giant, in which the UK's Frasers Group has a big stake, has been rethinking its brands' overall approach in the light of changes in consumer tastes and behaviour during and after the pandemic, so it will be interesting to see how the women's arm of the Boss label is reshaped in the months and years ahead.

She has an impressive CV built up over a number of years at major fashion brands. Most recently she was Chief Product and Marketing Officer at s.Oliver. But prior to this, she also held a number of key management roles at a wide range of globally-focused fashion companies. They include Karl Lagerfeld, Nike, PVH, Emilio Pucci, Levi-Strauss and Abercrombie & Fitch.

She’s also a board member of the Amsterdam Fashion Academy and is on the jury of the La Jolla Fashion Film Festivals (USA).
