Affordable online retailer Boohoo is launching its in-house menswear range, BoohooMan. The collection will be available for autumn-winter 2013 with prices ranging from 12 pounds to 50 pounds for outerwear.

Originally aimed at young women, Boohoo – founded in 2006 – took its first foray into mens clothing in 2012 when it launched an externally sourced menswear line. Boohoo designer Shane Chin says: “Menswear has become more fashion-focused and BoohooMan echoes that change.“

CEO Mahmud Kamani commented: “Boohoo has experienced rapid growth in the UK and internationally. As the company has expanded, so has the customer base so this is next natural step for the brand.”

In 2012, the fashion website posted a 79% increase in pre-tax profit to 248,790 pounds with sales of 29 million. Based in Manchester, the company ships goods across the world, including to the United States and Australia.
