Boohoo kicks off publicity drive for Megan Fox launch
Your biggest ever collaboration deserves an equally big publicity shot. So global fast-fashion e-tailer Boohoo has ensured its recently-launched tie-up with celebrity Megan Fox isn’t one that’s going to be easily missed.
Fox’s first-ever collection, co-designed with her A-list stylist Maeve Reilly, is being digitally projected across 16 landmark locations in London, including Marble Arch and London Bridge.
Framed against the city, the images of Fox wearing key pieces of her autumn collection are being illuminated framed in vibrant red lights “creating a defining moment for one of boohoo’s biggest collaborations to date”.
The 40-piece collection includes “interchangeable day/night pieces” with Fox promising that wearing her range “will make you feel confident and sexy throughout autumn”.
Pieces in the line-up include a big variety from thigh-high boots to boyfriend jeans, a retro padded-shoulder blazer dress and a zebra-print trench. They come in UK sizes 6 to 20.
Boohoo is banking on the Fox collaboration to give the autumn/winter season an added boost as the need to revitalise wardrobes as the party season gathers pace. Fox’s fashion choices are known to spur strong sales and the her new collection is likely to appeal to Boohoo’s legions of fast-fashion followers.
