Bonmarché names Higgins new product director

Geraldine Higgins has been named the new product director of Bonmarché, the British women's value retailer.

Higgins has previously worked at Sainsbury's, Monsoon, Matalan and Etam Group. At Bonmarché, she will be responsible for driving and implementing the Company’s Product Strategy. Higgins will also work with the Trading Board to drive the broader Company strategy.

She took up the position on January 4.

Commenting on the appointment, Beth Butterwick, Chief Executive Officer, said: “Her wealth of experience means she is well-placed to support us in the development of our product modernisation process. Her focus to delivering this will be both working with current and new sourcing opportunities to ensure we continue to offer our customers contemporary, style-appropriate, good quality products at fantastic prices..”
