British clothing retailer Boden has unveiled a fresh kids collection, inspired by the film "Harry Potter," which is set to debut via its childrenswear line Mini Boden this week.

Designed in-house by the Mini Boden design team in partnership with the "Harry Potter" film company Warner Bros, the Mini Boden x Harry Potter collection will consist of 81 pieces in total, with the first drop to be available from Wednesday through Boden's website, retail stores and at Nordstrom in the US.

Offering a selection of clothing for children aged from newborn to 16 years old, the collection features varying influences and motifs from the magical universe of the films, ranging from subtle Hogwarts House color stripes to Hogwarts-themed prints and character-inspired designs using 3D embroidery, with pieces adorned with "spellbinding" materials such as color-change sequins and crafted from tactile fabrics such as velvet and tulle.

The brand has also added a heritage spin to the collection, with highlights from the initial drop to include a range of ‘Hogwarts Breton' T-shirts, rugby shirts and rompers in house colors, as well as Hedwig-the-owl-embellished yellow cord overalls, dresses, jumpers and leggings, and a velvet-embellished bomber jacket.

The second wave of styles, for autumn 2019, will drop into stores and online on October 7 --  in time for Halloween and Christmas -- and will include the ‘Protego Maxima Magical' black velvet clock, alongside a matching party dress in deep purple tulle, and a yellow wool-blend ‘Hedwig Cardigan' with Harry Potter's beloved owl in intarsia on each sleeve with a faux fur body.

The first drop of the Mini Boden x Harry Potter collection includes products for boys and girls, with prices ranging from £18 (26 euros) for a 4-pack of socks to £56 (70 euros) for the bomber jacket.
