The Estée Lauder Companies announced on Friday the appointment of Lahnie Strange as senior vice president, global general manager of Bobbi Brown.

In this role, Lahnie will aim to further elevate Bobbi Brown’s aspirational and luxury positioning. The brand also aims to deepen its approach to artist-led teaching, and to push their New York roots. In particular, she will lead the global brand strategy and new product and commercial innovation, building and expanding upon hero products.

“Having previously spent nearly six years in marketing leadership roles at Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Lahnie returns to the brand where she will leverage her deep understanding of our artistry-led brand to continue driving growth across winning consumer segments, channels and markets,” said Sandra Main, president, global brands, La Mer and Bobbi Brown, who Lahnie will report to.

“Lahnie’s prior experience at Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, collaborative approach to business, dedication to brand-building, and deep expertise in makeup and skincare make her ideally suited to lead the brand into its next chapter of growth.”

Lahnie first joined the company in 2005 and was most recently SVP and GM, Estée Lauder and Aerin Beauty, North America, where she is credited for evolving its business with local marketing strategies, and expanding consumer reach at key retailers.

Previously, Lahnie held the role of SVP, global marketing and product development, Estée Lauder overseeing product and commercial innovation for makeup, including the brand’s coveted Double Wear franchise.

Lahnie also held marketing roles at Clinique both globally and in North America. In 2010, she transitioned to the global marketing team for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics where she worked for nearly six years, eventually assuming the role of SVP, global marketing, product, consumer, digital.
