The Spanish fashion and accessories company Bimba y Lola closed its fiscal year 2022, which ended on February 28, with sales amounting to 225 million euros and a 4.3% growth over the previous year.

As reported by the company in a statement on Monday, this growth was achieved thanks to international sales, which grew by 22%, driven by both its entry into seven new countries in Asia, America and Europe, as well as by the year-on-year growth recorded in practically all of the markets in which the brand operates.

As a result, more than 44% of the group's business is now generated outside Spain.

The company also reported that retail activity has recovered (+10% of sales in 2021), and that the digital channel has slowed down and went on to account for 18% of the group's total revenues.

Bimba y Lola currently has 286 points of sale in 26 countries, with a presence in a total of 48 countries through its online shops.

The group also continued to grow its team of 1809 employees worldwide by the end of 2022, increasing by 6% year-on-year, and to invest heavily in key projects for its long-term development, investing a record 28% more than in the previous year.
