Bicester Village and the British Fashion Council have teamed up again “to champion the future of British fashion” via The Creative Spot x British Fashion Council pop-up boutique.

Bicester Village x BFC

Opened this week, and running to 15 June, it promotes “innovative and sustainable British design”.

It was created for the BFC and the luxury outlet destination (that’s one of the most popular spots for tourists in the UK) by designer Richard Quinn and showcases “18 of the country’s most exciting designers”.

These include Alighieri, Christopher Kane, Completedworks, Eudon Choi, Mary Katrantzou, Mira Mikati, Mother of Pearl, Patrick McDowell, Phoebe English, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, Roksanda, Sophia Webster and more.

It also introduces the designs of Rejina Pyo and Tata Naka to Bicester Village and features Ivana Nohel’s silk scarves in a clear nod to the Platinum Jubilee next month as the label is a favourite of the Queen’s. The scarves will be exclusively available in the Village.

And the royal connection is deepened given that Quinn was the recipient of the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design several years ago.

The pop-up boutique offers designers retail space free of charge “while providing them with unique exposure to discerning guests from all over the world”.

BFC chief executive Caroline Rush said: “This is an exciting opportunity to promote innovative and sustainable brands to a global audience and celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.”
