Founded in 2010, Beulah London is a luxury fashion brand dedicated to raising awareness of the plight of women trapped by human slavery. With prices ranging from £30 to £765, the brand offers a comprehensive product line, spanning tops, skirts, dresses, jackets, trousers, scarves and bags.

Its social commitment and stylish outfits have captured attention from notable personalities, including the Duchess of Cambridge, Donna Air, Darcey Bussell, Jessica Alba and Princess Eugenie.

“Thinking of ways in which we could generate the funds needed to grow our business wasn’t an easy process,” said Beulah London co-founder Natasha Rufus Isaacs. “Initially we were sceptical about fundraising through a crowdfunding platform because of the luxury brand image… We are all very excited to be able to open our business up to the crowd as we move on to the next stage of our journey.”

Beulah generated £1.4m in revenue over the past four years, with £340k generated in 2015. After repositioning the business model to increase focus on India-based production, the company expects to achieve greater scalability of its products and create more opportunities for victims of human trafficking.

Alongside the fashion brand, Beulah's founders Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs and Lavinia Brennan run Beulah Trust, a charitable foundation aimed at supporting initiatives that create sustainable livelihoods for victims of trafficking.
