Ben Sherman launches Heritage in Motion capsule

The Ben Sherman brand has unveiled Heritage in Motion, a new ‘performance’ capsule collection designed using unique thermoregulatory technology and eco-conscious materials. 

It’s an interesting mix of recognisable signature silhouettes and new technology that takes in “advanced design details for maximum movement and comfort”, with multiple colour choices, including colour-blocked styles. 

The range features a 100% fully Waterproof Harrington Jacket, the 360 Motion Pique Polo, Performance Marl Tee, and 24/7 Motion Chino.

And it all comes with a campaign for which the brand has enlisted "three exceptionally talented freestyle footballers”. They include current and five times World Champion Football Freestyler and the UK Freestyle Football Champion for eight years, Andrew Henderson, Mo Omar and Scott Penders.

The trio put the collection through its paces, "performing crazy freestyle football moves and stunts”. They’ve also “filmed insane skills and tricks on the hottest day of all time, testing the thermoregulation technology in searing outdoor conditions while camera equipment overheated and the brand's Creative Director Mark Williams and crew melted in an unforgiving heatwave”.

The company said the “lads took the challenge in their stride, keeping cool and crease-free, stretching 24/7 Motion Chinos to its limits while doing eye-popping tricks and defying gravity in style before cooling off with a well-deserved pint in the pub”.
