Belstaff launches capsule collection with football club OGC Nice
Building on their new outfitting partnership, announced in July, Belstaff said the capsule collection has been designed with the players’ style in mind.
The range is also a good reflection of Belstaff’s own classic biker aesthetic. Founded in 1924, the British heritage brand is renowned for its high-end outerwear and spirit of adventure.
The off-field capsule collection includes a classic racer jacket, a MA-1 style leather bomber, a leather jacket and a water repellent taffeta worker’s jacket. The looks are completed with a lightweight nylon down Gilet, stretch poplin shirt, branded white t-shirt, black jeans and a new sneaker style, the Rally.
The capsule made its debut at the OGC Nice vs Paris Saint-Germain match on Sunday and the team will continue to wear the items when off the field throughout the season. Training staff and coach Patrick Vieira will also wear the brand for all major matches and travelling to games.
Team captain Dante Bonfim Costa, said of the collection: “We are very proud to be wearing Belstaff throughout the season. The collection is elegant, stylish and built for purpose.”
Belstaff CEO Helen Wright added: “For almost a hundred years Belstaff has outfitted those with an adventurous spirit, those who meet life’s challenges head on, those who willingly push the limits. Our heritage, tenacity and driving ambition are among our great strengths and we see these through OGC Nice, an historic club with exciting ambitions for the future. We are proud to support Patrick Vieira and OGC Nice as they challenge for the top in the seasons to come.”
