Beauty big-hitters sign up for One New Change stores

Published

One New Change, the shopping mall and office development in the City of London, has named four new signings with two big name beauty brands taking space there.

One New Change

The two beauty brands reflect the popularity of natural products at present. Landsec has signed high-end bodycare and fragrance specialist Molton Brown as well as mass-market ethical products retailer The Body Shop. Also joining them on the newcomer list will be fitness and training apparel brand Whatever It Takes, taking advantage of the gym boom among city workers. Nespresso is the fourth new name on the list.

Hermione Mackrill, portfolio director at Landsec, said: “These four additions to One New Change represent Landsec’s focus on getting the right mix of brands to meet the needs of our customers.”

One new Change is typical of a new breed of shopping complexes that has a strong mix of traditional brand names as well as lifestyle and dining options. In the last18 months it had added a number of cafés and restaurants as well as Hackett and Sweaty Betty. Other tenants among the 60 retailers there are Topshop, Reiss, Hugo Boss and LK Bennett.

The mall is the only large shopping centre in the historic City of London and opened in 2010 after a £500 million spend.
