Beauty and fashion key to Debenhams Christmas TV campaign
The rollout of Christmas ads from major retailers continues apace. Friday saw Debenhams.com debut its offer, again maintaining the warmth of family and tradition as the chosen theme for 2022.
With it comes an ad “bursting with gifts to share with loved ones or as a treat for yourself”, and featuring the familiar faces of TV celebrities Rachel Stevens and Jess Wright.
From the early morning rush of opening presents, to beginning the marathon of cooking Christmas dinner, the ad centres on families and friends “coming together to revel in the joy of Christmas and the happiness it brings”.
With Debenhams “helping anyone and everyone [to] find that perfect gift this Christmas, even if your special someone is you," beauty content includes Prada’s recently launched Paradoxe Eau De Parfum and all-time favourite Alien from Mugler. Fashion lovers are catered for with pieces from Principles, Dorothy Perkins, Boohoo and Monsoon, “curating the perfect capsule wardrobe for this season and the next”.
Meanwhile, a competition will be run giving customers the chance to win all the beauty products featured in the ad for themselves and a friend on Instagram (@debenhams).
