Beauty Bay unveils new website

Published
Jul 26, 2019

Manchester-based online retailer Beauty Bay has unveiled a new website that combines content and product in a completely new way.

Beauty Bay

The new website features two scrolling columns, ‘Shop’ and ‘Discover’, allowing users to quickly see the site’s featured and trending products, while browsing through the content feed, including makeup tips, buying guides and other insights.

“Today we have released a completely new look and feel for our website that matches our company culture and brand identity,” said the retailer’s chief technology officer Nik Southworth in a LinkedIn post.

“Alongside a fantastic new UI & UX, and simply amazing new product photography, we have also completely upgraded the entire underlying architecture of our web applications.”

The new website reflects the beauty retailer’s new branding, introduced last year thanks to a partnership with design agency Mero give the brand a distinctive visual style and personality.

One of Europe’s largest independent online retailers, Beauty Bay now defines itself as fast, disruptive and different. The platform sells over 7,000 products from “hard-to-find brands” and its own range of colour cosmetics and makeup accessories.
